We currently seek a non-employee entity for the following work:

Technical Writer/Patent Engineer Contractor

We seek a agent/engineers that are proficient in patent specification/claims writing. 

Requirements:

  • Must be located in the United States.
  • Must be self-motivated, very responsible/reliable, and handle matters very professionally.
  • Patent claim writing is not needed, however, reasonably good patent specification writing experience is required (even if lightly reviewed). We will train for advanced skills, normally this means you will have at least 1-2 years spec/claims drafting experience at a high quality patent law firm.
  • If you are not a Patent Agent, then 1-2 years solid technical writing experience, preferably related to describing the detailed workings of inventions and/or technologies.
  • EE degrees preferred. Please no PhD's.  Solid technical/engineering experience in software, electronics, computers, IT, etc.
  • Aware (or intention to be aware) of advanced patent specification writing legal requirements.
  • Must be able to start immediately..
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience and determined on a case-by-case basis.
